Ivan the Great Dies
Ivan the II was the grand prince of Russia. He had an army so great that he conqured and annex the Novegood Princedom. Alex later married Princess Zoe Palaeologa. Under the influence of his wife, he brought Italian architecture to Russia. -
Ivan the Terrible Poisoned
Ivan the Terrible created a bigger and better army. He also hired men to build St. Basils Cathedral. He died from getting poisened in 1584. -
Peter the Great Dies
Peter the Great was the first Russian emporer. he also westernized and modernized Russia. -
Catherine the Great Dies
Catherine the Great was a generous czar. She expanded Russian territory, and made St. Petersburg. -
Nicholas I Dies
Nicholas I didn't feel ready to be czar. he was in no interest in humanity, and more rather into engineering and military affairs. -
Alexander II Assassinated
Alexander II was known for emancipating the serfs. Doing that, the serfs gained political rights and got to keep homes and tools. Alex also toned down censorship, and encouraged schools, and provided better health care. -
Alexander III Dies
Alex III killed all he acused of killing his father. he was badly shaken by his father's assassination. Alex was a noble and nice man. -
Nicholas II and his Family Die
The last Czar. lost to Germany in WW1. He and his family were executed by a firing squad.
