I was raised Lutheran and we went to church every weekend, and socialized mostly with church people or family. I still felt accepted at this point. I was in sunday school. -

I have spelling tests every week for most of my elementary days which I did not like but I think it helped me to know hundreds of words still to this day -

I started puberty and was embarressed of the changes occuring in my body. -

Middle school was an especially hard time for me. All my best friends from elementary school moved to different groups. I felt alone and unsure where I fit in -

I had my son was I was still in high school, at age 17. -

I finally started college, and I am going to be an RN. I work at a nursing home as a certified nursing assistant. -

I met my husband and we married when I was 24 and also gained a step daughter! -

After years of struggling with my weight, I finally started to run and exercise regularly. -

After the passing of three maternal aunt in less than two years time I have a new perspective on family and bonds. My relationships with people are closer, especially with my husband and mother. -

After returning back to college as an adult I realize my brain is not as fast at learning and I have to study longer and harder than my teenage years. -

After many years of struggling with addiction in my youth, my body shows signs of premature-aging. I am sad to find wrinkles near my eyes. -

I am diagnosed with breast cancer, like almost every other women in my maternal family. After two years of chemo and radiation I am in remission! -

I am attending the wedding of my first grandson! -
