Roger wIlliams gets banished from Massachusetts because he believes in separation of Church and state. He goes on to found Rhode Island. -

if you didn’t believe what the Puritans said you were banished from Massachusetts. A woman named Anne Hutchinson got banished because she questioned the church leader. -

Quakers settle Pennsylvania and New Jersey to escape religious persecution.They believe in equality for everyone and religious freedom. -
