    The renaissance was the rebirth of Greek and Roman ideas and history. It was widely urban and secular or non religious. That increased the wealth and they focused more on money. The society focused on more people and nature than they did God. Many famous painters were around during the renaissance. Venice,Milan,Florence were rich majorly trade cities. Spain sacked Rome and was in charge of Rome

    They began Humanism which was based on the study of the classics, studied grammar, rhetoric, poetry, moral philosophy, and history. They brought back the use of Roman Latin also.The society believed they did not need to live with the family or community. Dante,Chaucer,and Christine de Pizan made vernacular popular so that everyone could speak their language. Many famous painters were included during this time and are still famous today.
