Martin Luther was born in 1483 Martin was a monk he thought the Catholic church was corrupt and made the Luther Church he posted his 95 theses on the front door of the Catholic church that had 95 things that are wrong with the church. He was kicked out of the church after this and was no longer a monk.

Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenburg Church door. The 95 Theses were things wrong with the church he wanted to get rid of the corruption in the church and teach people the real way to reach salvation and only "god" can save people.

The Peasant war is a war that ended with 100,000 to 300,000 dead peasants and farmers. The Peasants were fighting against the church and Roman empire there they wanted freedom and wanted to stop the tax.

In the 1530's Nicolaus Copernicus published his theory of the sun being the center of the solar system and not the earth. This was a major breakthrough for science but the Catholic church would go on to ban this book. Scientists found this to be suppressing that they no longer can post their findings without being ridiculed as a witch or as a heretic.
