Pride and Prejudice

  • Chapter 1

    The Bennet family goes to a party to meet Mr. Bingley, a great candidate for one of the Bennet's daughters to get married to. In the party, Mr. Bingley comes with his sister and and a friend, Mr. Darcy. Soon, Elizabeth, the oldest of the sisters notices that he is a very unlikable man.
  • Chapter 4

    4 of the girls go to a nearby town called Meryton to see a group of army officers. There, Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy show up and Mr. Darcy and one of the soldiers, Mr. Wickham look at eachother. Mr. Wickham then tells Elizabeth about their story. Mr. Darcy took away all the money his father intended to give him.
  • Chapter 5

    Jane receives a letter from Caroline saying that they are moving to London and that also Charles is interested in marrying Darcy's sister. Mr. and Miss Gardiner, some Bennet's uncles offer Jane to go to London with them. Also, aunt Gardiner is worried that Elizabeth may feel something for Mr. Wickham but at the end, he wants to marry a rich woman because he has no money. So none of them is in love with eachother.
  • Chapter 2

    Jane is invited to the Bingley's house but gets very ill so she stays there and Elizabeth also goes to make sure she's okay. Elizabeth soon discovers a side of Mr. Darcy that she didn't expect from him and vice versa.
  • Chapter 3

    Mr Collins, Mr Bennet's cousin autoinvites himself to have dinner with the Bennet. He then wants to marry one of the daughters. Jane is almost already engaged so he then proposes to Elizabeth but she refuses to accept no matter what her parents say.
