Peter the great was born on June 9th, 1672. He was the 14th child of Tsar Alexis.

When Peter was 4, his father, Tsar Alexis died which put Peter's brother, Feodar III to rule.

Peter's brother dies in 1682, which left himself and his other brother, Ivan V to "rule" together.

Peter marries Eudoxia Lopukhina, daughter of a noble.

Because Ivan V was very weak, he died early which left Peter the Great to begin his solo rule.

Peter the Great divorces with Eudoxia Lopukhina, because of an unhappy marriage.

Peter's first child was born before the marriage and was named Peter. He died in infancy.

Peter marries again, this time with Martha (Catherine) Skavronskaya.

Peter the Great a had urine tact and bladder problem. He was given surgery but never recovered to full health.

After the surgery in 1724, Peter was never able to recover to full health and eventually died.
