Summer Breakaway is a week-long church retreat that I first attended in 2019. I spent the week playing games, going to service, and just spending quality time. -
For my mom's birthday, we went to Florida and it was the first time I met her boyfriend's family. We road tripped all around the state, from Universal Studios to the Keys.

My dog chewed up a bottle of Ibuprofen and overdosed on the pills. It was very emotional. -
My brother usually gives me haircuts and this June I allowed him to shave the bottom half of my head and create a cool design. I kept reshaving for about 6 months. -
My time at Rufus Hitch Elementary school came to an end. I graduated and it was time to go to high school. -

My 15th birthday was the first day that Chicago went on lockdown. School was canceled, restaurants closed, unnecessary shopping stores closed, and everyone was encouraged to stay home. To make the best of my birthday, I slept over my brother's house and spent the day watching movies and playing games with him and his wife. -
I took English 101 at Wright College during the summer of 2021, so I will not have to take the class when I get to college. -
I got accepted into the Chicago Police & Firefighter Training Academy. It excited me because it was the start of a new chapter of my life. I am passionate about my plans to become an EMT. -
At my church, I participated in a market where I sold muffins to raise money for an organization called Speed the Light. STL is a student-led organization that provides for missionaries.

In November of 2021, I was water baptized at my church as a way to publicly announce my devotion to God. -
In my Ceramics class, we had to create grotesque pieces and I decided to make a hand with holes in it to allude to the fear of holes, trypophobia. -
I tested positive for Covid on Christmas Eve before going to a family party, so all my winter break plans were canceled.
