    To kick off bucketfilling, we had a school wide walk around our track sporting our bucketfilling shirts.

  • Fieldtrip to Kalona

    Fieldtrip to Kalona

    We went to the Kalona historical village to learn about schools and communities from long ago. We saw a one room school house, and train depot, a grandpa house, a one room cabin, store, and post office. We even saw them spin wool into yarn.
  • America Reads Day

    We had a lot of parents and some football players come read to our class. We listened to books all day long!
  • Halloween Parade

    We brought our costumes to school and had a school wide parade. We then had our fall parties with lots of goodies.

  • Wrote Expository Paragraphs with juicy details.

    We have been starting a paragraph with juicy detail sentences. Our paragraphs have to have 8 sentences. IT IS HARD WORK!
