Roanoke

During July 22 a group of man, women and children went to Roanoke, but it was a diasater because eveybody disappearred. There was nothing in the island people said that they might have joined the Native Americans or they just walked into the water.

James

Dec 22, 1606

James's was Queen Elizabeth I nephew went on a trip Chesapeake Bay but they only arrived in my 14 1607. They traveled in three ships the Godspeed, The Discovery and the Susan Constant. When James arrived he named it Jamestown. In the beggiging they had a few troubles for example they were looking for gold and didn't have food. Afterwards the first African slavs arrived.

The Middle Colonies

King Charles II gave a piece of land between New England and Virginia to his brother The Duke York. Afterwards the English took over the Dutch the Netherlands and named it New York.

When the pilgrims were in Masschusetts they said that it was to pious which meant that Masschites didn't have enough religion so they diceded to combined to Connecticut.
