Noam Chomsky is considered the founder of modern Linguistics and is also a cognitive scientist, political commentary, historian, and philosopher. He is still alive at the age of 92. -
Transformational Grammar
In 1955, he focused and developed the idea of transformational grammar and earned a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. -
Syntactic Structures
In the book, Chomsky focuses on separation of syntax and semantics which means differentiating the structure and meaning. Chomsky breaks down sentence structure into smaller segments with is new transformation rules applied. This book is widely considered one of the great works of the 20th century.

The Fateful Triangle
In this book, Chomsky discusses the start and development of the relationship between Palestine, Israel, and the United States. The books emphasize the 1982 Lebanon War as the main root cause of the relationship. It was originally written in 1983 but was updated with three chapters in 1999.

Profit over People
In this book, Chomsky suggest that the societal hierarchy of capitalism creates focuses on pure profit over the benefit and health of the people. He also makes note of the negative effects caused by various world organization on the poorer countries in the world. The World Trade Organization, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund and the main banking organizations that Chomsky suggest are the culprits.

Occupy
In this book, Chomsky details his interpretation of the Occupy movement and its demands over several interviews and speeches he had given on the topic. Chomsky also gives suggestions on how to better accomplish their goals with legal advice from the National Lawyers Guild.
