I was born!
I was born on August 11, 1992 at Jordan Hospital in Brockton, MA. I was the first child for my parents, Michael and Linda. -
Moved to Hull, MA
My parents and I moved to a condo near Nantasket Beach in Hull when I was 1 year old. We lived there for almost 5 years. -
Moved to Pembroke, MA
In July of '98, a month before I started first grade, we moved to a house in Pembroke, MA. I would stay in Pembroke for the remainder of my childhood, but we would relocate to a house a block away when I was in sixth grade. -
Kayla is born
My sister Kayla was born on May 10, 2000, when I was in second grade. Kayla is my only sibling. -
Orthodontist
In March of fifth grade, I saw an orthodontist for the first time to discuss my TERRIBLE teeth. Thus began a six-year process involving palette expanders, temporary braces, actual braces, retainers, and the like. It was worth it in the end! -
Middle School
I started seventh grade at Pembroke Community Middle School in 2004. I also started listening to "emo music" and filling my closet with t-shirts from Hot Topic, much to my mother's excitement. -
Cheerleading
The summer before my Sophomore year, I decided to try out for the Pembroke High School Cheerleading team. I had never cheered before, but I danced my entire life (from age 2-18). Since PHS didn't have a dance team, I decided cheer was the next best thing. I wasn't great at it, but I stayed on the team until I graduated. -
YMCA
My first summer as a camp counselor at the South Shore YMCA was in 2009, which was the summer before my senior year of high school. I have gone back every summer since; this summer will be my 8th, although I've been promoted to Upper Camps Coordinator at this point! -
Graduation
I graduated from high school in 2010. This photo is of me and my two best friends, taken before my senior prom in May. -
UMASS
I started attending the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2010. -
James
I met my boyfriend, James, at UMASS in October 2013 on a trip with the UMASS Ski N' Board Club, which we were both Board Members of. We celebrated our two year anniversary this past December :) -
Graduation
I graduated from UMASS with my Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Elementary Education in May 2014. -
Lesley!
In July of 2015, I started the Collaborative Internship Program at Lesley University. In September of 2015, I started working at Hillside Elementary! Though the program has been difficult at times, I have met some fantastic people, and have learned so much about myself as a teacher. :)
