My Life

  • Birth Date

On Feb. 19, 1999, 4 pm, I was born at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pa.
  • Learning to ride a bike

At the age of 6, I was able to ride a bike. After multiple scrapes, cuts, and bruises I was finally able to accomplish this goal. Before I learned, I always watched my older brother and father ride their bikes without me, which always made me mad. From there I was always dedicated to to learn new things to fit in with my family.
  • The Birth of My Younger Brother

On Feb. 11 2006, my younger brother was born. At the time, I didn't how to feel about this event. All I could think about was that I was going to be an older brother to this kid, a role model. I knew that this kid won't make the same mistakes that I did growing up because I would teach him to be good and wise. Indeed I did what I promised and I still do to this day.
  • Going off to Middle School

After graduating elementary school, I felt that everything would change going into middle school. When the time came everything did. You had multiple teachers, multiple books to carry, and multiple things the really affected you. People started dressing differently and talking funny all of a sudden. Drugs started to affect students as well. Even I was affected by it. I started smoking weed in 7th grade after talking bad about it all through elementary school. I realized I wasn't a kid no more.
  • Freshman Year of High School

Freshman year was nothing like you would think as you would see in the movies. There was no wedgies, or people getting dunked in toilets, or even getting beat up, well from what I saw. Everyone from middle school just disbursed to groups of people. I didn't really have a specific group. I was just that guy that was cool with everyone. I didn't care what color you were, or what sports you played, or even what kind of music you listened to. I was just focused on my grades at that time.
  • Sophomore Year of High School

10th grade was the year I changed a lot. It was the year I met someone that changed my life. Before, I quit the gym and I didn't care how I looked. Now I get my haircuts from a barber, go to the gym, and make sure I dress appropriate wherever I go. That someone I met at the breakfast line at school became my closest and only true friend and still is to this day.
  • Lifting in General

That summer after sophomore year, I really got into weight training. I worked three jobs that summer and still had the dedication to train 7 days a week. I didn't go to any parties or anything. My work ethic got me out of a lot of trouble that summer. I was so motivated to work hard and achieve big things. I wanted to have money, a great body, and happiness. After that summer ended, I had money, a great body, and happiness.
  • My First Job

It was the summer of 2015 and all i wanted was a job. I always stayed home and did nothing, along with asking my dad for money. All I wanted was to be independent. So one day I saw that a Taco Bell was opening up in my neighborhood. So I applied and got an interview. I was so nervous the day of the interview. I was 15 years old at the time. No jobs hired teens under 16 years of age. But somehow I got hired. That day was considered to be the greatest moment of my life. I was independent.
  • Senior Year of High School

I know everyone says your senior year of high school should be easy. To be honest it was one of the hardest years of high school for me. I couldn't look at my notes and memorize the entire section a few minutes before we got handed the test like I did my previous years. I couldn't get up super early and have a lot of energy to do things like before. I was so over high school and all the students here. I just wanted senior year to be over so I can focus on my goals more.
  • Getting My License

On September 15, 2016 at 10:30 am, I was scheduled to take my driver's licence test. That day I'll never forget. I was so nervous that day that my hands were tingling just holding the steering wheel. Heck I was so nervous that when the instructor came and asked what my name was I said 10:30, thinking that he was asking what time my appointment was. After I took the test the instructor said, "You did two things wrong and that's good enough to fail you." I got mad until he said, "But I won't."
  • 2 Years in the Gym

It's been two years since I started my journey in the gym. I went from benching 95 lbs to benching 225 lbs. I went from weighing 120 lbs to 160 lbs. People always looked at me as "that small kid" and told me that I would never get big or that I'll look the same. Now they ask me how I did it. I told them that when you were partying, I was in the gym everyday. To this day I look in the mirror and see myself still "that small kid." I made a lot of progress these 2 years, But its only the beginning.
  • Concluding Statement ( Paragraph 1)

I was always a funny kid that goofed off a lot growing up. But when I hit my early teens I soon realized that no one will put anything aside for you, but if you work hard you can have anything you want. I always had a clear vision of my goal and I always stuck with it. I didn't care about people's opinion, especially in high school. Students in high school just want to see what they want to see and most students give it to them. They dress a certain way and talk a certain way, but not me.
  • Concluding Statement (Paragraph 2)

My dad came to this country in 1984. All he could think about was work. I came home from work the one day and said, "I'm tired." My dad said, "You're tired?" and then goes, "Andrew how many hrs are in a day?" I said, "24, duh." He then goes, " That's how many hrs I worked in a day, 5-6 days a week." From there I knew that to make it in this world you need to work. My father was poor. He had no money and barely enough to eat in Egypt, but he was rich because he had a dream. An American dream.
