Televison
From as far back as I can recall, I have always enjoyed watching the television. This includes television programmes, videos and dvds. Eventhough, to begin with, I would watch children's materials, they helped form the basis of my learning as well as developing my imagination. -

Digital Technology in my Life

Over-head Projectors
Assemblies at school often consisted of reading books or songs off of an over-head projector that projected information on to a wall. This allowed every child to read independently and everyone could read along with the songs. -
Ipod
I was introduced to Ipods around my eighth Birthday which I used to put songs on as well as books to listen to when in the car, out and aboout or in my bed at night. -
Computers
Beginning in primary four, I can recall having an I.T. lesson each week at school as part of the school's curriculum. Each week we would develop skills the computer's software. This was the first I was introduced to computers educationally and not just for playing games on. -
Mobile Phones
For my Birthday I was given my very first mobile phone which I could use to communicate with friends and family. I can remember when I was out playing with friends, mmy phone was used to communicate with my parents to check that I was safe and I used it as an alarm to know when to come home when out with friends. Over the years, I began to use my phone for accessing information on the internet as well as socialising with friends on social media sites. -
Laptops
In my finl year at primary school I received a laptop for my Christmas which I used for playing games, gaining information off the internet and socialising with friends. Over the years I have had a few laptops and a notebook, with my most recent laptop being purchased for starting university. -
Camera
I got my first Camera for my Birthday which I still have today which is great for capturing moments on holidays, having the family together and on days out. -
Current Technology
Today, I still use all the means of technology I have already suggested. Technology plays a massive part in my life educationally, socially and in terms of genreal living.
