His absence of a chair and his full belly shows his higher social status. I find this piece interesting because it is depicting a human instead of a divine spirit or Godly presence. -

The Great pyramids show just how Egyptians can contract large pieces of art. This specific piece of art is said to have taken 10-12 years to construct. The Great Pyramids show the power of the Egyptians and the strength they held as engineers and as artists. It also highlights the high social status the king had in this situation along with the wealth of these people. -

The Code of Hammarabi is a code set of laws. It was inscribed in stone and applies to the babylonian society. Its purpose was to create political power in order to form a bond among the diverse society. I feel this piece is important because it showcases the details of babylonian art as well as the power politics played during this time. -

Hu-Nefer
The Last Judgment of Hu-Nefer is a scroll that is a written text called the Book of the Dead text included ancient spells and instructions for the afterlife. this specific text was found in the tomb of Hu-nefer. It shows Hu-nefer speaking to gods showing he deserves to be in the afterlife. He is being led by the gods wanting internal life. I find this interesting because it explores the divine order of the afterlife. -

This piece is of massive size and detail. Its purpose was to provide a religious center for the god of Amun-Re. The temple and gateway were used to describe the unique environment of creation. This piece is extremely intricate and I find it to be inspiring because of the immense detail applied in the temple and hall.
