    The Declaration of Independence when we declared independence from Great Britian, and the war ended! Now we have our rights, and we celabrate the 4th of July. This piece of paper is really special to America, becuase it symbolizes freedom and independence.

  • Louisiana Purchase

    The United States of America bought over 2 million square kilometers from France, and the price was 15,000 dollars.

  • Fort Sumter

    General PGT Beugard in command of other soldiers in different troops fired on the Union garrison gaurding Fort Sumter. At 2:30 AM Robert Anderson, garrison commander, surrendered the fort.

  • Abraham Lincoln's Assassination

    Abe Lincoln was assasinated by John Wilkes Booth, watching a play. John Wilkes Booth shot him in the back of the head with a handgun.

  • First moon landing

    Apollo 11 was our first landing on the moon done by Neil Armstrong, and we had 6 moon landings in between 1969 and 1972.

  • 9\11

    Nine eleven was a really sad day for all the people who died. At exactly 8:36 a hijacked plane flew strait into one of the twin towers, and three minutes later a second plane flew into the second. Then moments later both towers collapsed.
