On January 7, 1982 the LaGrand brothers, Walter and Karl bungled an armed bank robbery. While in the process of the roberry, the LaGrands' killed a man and severely injured a woman. They were subsequently charged for murder and alter sentenced to death. Walter was executed by lethal gas and Karl was executed by Lethal Injection.
