    Abraham and Sarah traveled to Canaan with Abraham’s nephew, Lot, and his family. Lot saw Haran on the way to Canaan and decided that the land there was good enough so Lot stayed.
  • Sarah gives birth to Issac

    Sarah gives birth to Issac

    Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah 99 when she gave birth to Isaac. When the angel told them that Sarah would bear a son, she laughed. When he was born, he was named Isaac, which means “he laughs”

    After Babylon fell to Cyrus, king of Persia, he allowed Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. He even allowed stolen precious items to be returned to the temple.
