how to build shelter as ralph is buildiong shelter jack and him get into an argument over how no oe is helping make shelter ralph brings up the point that jack and the hunters havent killed a pig yet simon is helping the littleluns reach fruit -

how to live on an island an average day includes cool morning blazing hot afternoons when they take naps and fruit picking... the little lunsare terrified of the beastie and have night mares jack is determined to kill a pig so he paints his face with clay as camoflauge... -

chapter 7
how to make nice as the boys are travleing up the mountain they see pig droppings and decide to go hunt ralph injures a pig and jack gets hurt from a tusk the boys return to camp and renact and chant around the fire -
chapter 8
how to kill piggy wasn't up the mount the night before so he never saw the "beast" so he still doesnt believe in it simon finds a secret cove jack gets humiliated so he creates his own group they kill a pig and as a offering to the beast they cut off the head and puts on a stick as simon is about to have a fit the head starts to talk to him saying that hes the lord of the flies -
chapter 9
how to unsee simon realizes that the beast is just the dead parachutist from the dog fight and he heads down the mountain to tell the others most of the others are at jacks feast and jack is dressed like a savage chief simon is mistaken as the beast and is killed... his body is washed out to the sea -
chapter 10
ralph and piggy realize that the beast was simon jack moves his tribe to castle rock jack plans to raid the other camp for fire and piggys glasses -
chapter 11
at castle rock ralph blows the conch and roger throws a rock jack and ralph start to get into another fight about how jacks a thief roger pushes a rock down a clif ad hits and kils piggy and destroys the conch -
chapter 12
ralph returns to castle rock sam n' eric are guarding the entrance and they tell him that jack is planning to kill him the tribe sets the forest on fire to get him moving an officer comes in and jokes around a bit but they are saved
