  • Slavery (Social)

    Around 10-12 million Africans were forced to come to the U.S to become slaves. On the the ship alone more than 2 million died because they were not well fed. The first group of slaves were brought to Virginia and Maryland. Maryland and Virginia at first had a lot of slave rights but then slowly lowered the slaves rights. The slavery was a good and bad thing for U.S history. The slavery helped people in the South but later caused many problems.
  • Natural Resources ( Economic)

    The resources in New England included fish, lumber, soil, and grain. In the Middle the resources were lumber, grains, iron, and cattle. The resources in the South were tobacco, indigo, crops, rice, and lumber. The natural resources were good for U.S, it helped with trade and helped the economy.
  • French and Indian (Political)

    French and Indian (Political)
    French & Indian War lasted for seven years. This war effected the colonies because the British taxed the colonies. Then the British cut off supplis with France because France was sending their supply the the U.S, The war ended with the Treaty of Paris. The French & Indian War led to the American Revolution. This had a positive effect towards the U.S it was the start for a fight for freedom.
