The Beginning of the Nazi Party
After the end of World War I, Germany have to pay a great amount of money for the damages that happen in the war. German people found this a little unfair and wrong. Unfortunately, ex-soldier, Adolf Hitler had a voice during Germany reparation. Adolf Hitler's voice inspired countless number of people so much, he actually had his own supporters. While the Nazi party grew popularity, people from the German political party caught wind of Hitler and his patriotic duty. Paul Hindenburg(the president of Germany at the time) appointed Hitler as Chancellor in 1933. While Hitler was in power, he also put the Nazi party into the spotlight in Germany, that's why half the people in Germany was a Nazi back in the day -
Holocaust
After Hitler was proclaimed chancellor, he set a plan to eliminate the Jews in Germany. Hitler murdered 6 million European Jews (as well as members of some other persecuted groups, such as Gypsies and homosexuals) by the German Nazi party. To Adolf Hitler Jews were an inferior race, an alien threat to German racial purity and community. -
Axis Power formed
Germany and Italy, reflecting their common interest in destabilizing the European order, announced a truce after signing a treaty of friendship in November 6, 1937. In September 27, 1940 Germany, Italy, and Japan signed the Tripartite Pact, which became known as the Axis alliance. -
Attack on Pearl Harbor
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor. Just before 8 a.m. on that Sunday morning, hundreds of Japanese fighter planes descended on the base, where they managed to destroy or damage nearly 20 American naval vessels, including eight battleships, and over 300 airplanes. -

Operation Overload, the battle of Normandy or most known D-Day- Allied forces launched a invasion of German-occupied Western Europe during World War II. The operation was launched on 6 June 1944 with the Normandy landings. The invasion was one of the largest military assaults in history and required extensive planning.
