Today I start my timeline. I have also started working on my "When you see the words..." sheet. I realized I know just as little now as I did when this happened in Dalsimers class last year. Lots of remembering to do, so fun times ahead!
-
Today I am reviewing polar and completeing lots of homework I had yet to do. I am still having trouble with converting certain polar equations into rectangular, and the book doesn't really go into detail about this at all. I will ask Jibs or Hyman tomorrow.
-
Jibs showed me an interesting and much easier way of converting polar to rectangular. If given an equation such as r = 6cos(t), all you need to do is multiply both sides by r to obtain r^2 = 6rcos(t), which becomes x^2+y^2 = 6x

Filled in about 10 things for the "When you see the words" worksheet. Very informative in the fact that I don't remember any of the actual definitions of these things. This part of calculus I don't like.
-
Worked on the AP Sample packet due on April 29th or so. Much of it I know, but I had issues with series convergence and recognizing limits of series as integrals. First day in Illinois, and I am discussing calculus with my father, fun stuff!
-
Finished Section 1 of the test, or at least what all of the multiple choice add up to. Over the break, I am going to start reading up on some series stuff and study my KYSC sheet. Illinois is a blast, but I do need to do some work!
-
Once again, I have had to look at this sheet and stare in amazement at the definitions I don't know. Finished a few more definitions in class. Also turned in the multiple choice section for the in class Sample AP we completed.
-
Lots of review worksheets to do and studying from the book to complete!
-
Studied from the book for a couple of hours today. Not fun, but necesary
-
Finished all worksheets and practice given out in class over the past few days. Very helpful info
-
Finishing up studying today so I can relax and mentally prepare tomorrow
-
Im finally ready for the test
-
Today is the day! Multiple choice - easy, mostly from last years test. Free response - only slightly more difficult
