Cause and effect event: In 1952, Joseph Stalin grew afraid people would try to overthrow him and take his power away from him. He decided to murder any potential threats to him. Many of which were on his side: the bolshevik party. The effect of this is that people began to fear him even more. -
In 1953, Joseph Stalin finally died. He died from a stroke. Doctors would have been able to save him, except he put all of his doctors in prison because he thought they were a threat. So there was nobody who could save him. He died in Moscow, Russia. When he died, somebody else stepped into power. This guy called out Joseph Stalin and told everyone how bad Joseph Stalin was and how propaganda made him look good even though he wasn't. Such talk would have gotten him killed if Stalin were alive.

present, Joseph Stalin and his five year plan that starved his citizens reminds me of North Korea. This is because both The USSR and N. Korea are communist. Also, Just like how Russia was starved by Jospeh Stalin, North Korea often has food shortages, but not necessarily because of Kim-Jung Un. North Korea is a nuclear power just like Russia became.
