U.N wanted to partition but the British made Palastine Arab and Jewish states. Arabs reject it, when Israelis declare independence, they attack. Israel wins and gains territory. Control of Jeruselem was then split by Jordan and Israel. -
Settlements
The Israelis created settlements within West Bank and Gaza. Althouth this is concidered illegal, they are surrounded by safety zones. Meaning the Palestinians are not aloud to hurt them. -
Six Day War
Relationship between Jewish Israelis and Arabs got worse. Egypt fired the U.N peacekeepers and prepared for war. Irael attacks by surprise. Syria, Jordan and Iraq join. Israel kills the Arab forces, takes East Jeruselem and WestBank from Jordan, Gaza and Sinai from Egpyt and the Golan Heights from Syria. -
Yom Kippur War
Egypt and Syria launch surprise attack on Israel. They later withdraw from this war, -
Peace
Peace is in the air. President Jimmy Carter declares peace between Egypt and Irael. Egpyt is the first Arab nation to recognize the Israelis. -

Since the Isrealis controlled West Bank and Gaza, Palestinians started an uprising by throwing stones at the Israeli soldiers.
