Other Palestinians were forced to leave by individuals or groups fighting for Israel.

    "At 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, 1972, in Munich, Germany, Palestinian soldiers armed with automatic rifles broke into rooms of the Israeli team at the Olympic Village, killed two members of the team and took nine others hostage. Twenty-three hours later, the nine hostages had also been murdered. So was a German policeman. So were five of the Palestinian terrorists.

    A U.S.-Soviet peace talks was made by the UN Council on October 22. Then, Kissinger flew to Tel Aviv, where he told the Israelis that the US would not be mad if the IDF went ahead while he flew back to Washington.
    When Kissinger came back he agreed to another ceasefire, but the Israelis still refused to stop. On October 24, Brezhnev sent Nixon a message and the United States responded by putting its nuclear forces on worldwide alert on October 25. By the end of the day, the war ended.

    At the White House in Washington, D.C., Egyptian President and Israeli Prime Minister signed the Camp David Accords, making a permanent peace agreement between Egypt and Israel after a long time of war. This happened during 12 days of a lot of hard talks. The final peace agreement was the first between Israel and one of its Arab neighbors–was signed in March 1979. Sadat and Begin were awarded the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize.

A main part that led to the intifada was when Israeli forces killed four young Palestinians at a Gaza checkpoint.

    On September 13, 1993, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Negotiator Mahmoud Abbas signed a peace agreement known as the Oslo Accord, at the White House. Israel said it was okay with the agreement as the leader of the Palestinians, and the PLO got rid of terrorism. Both sides agreed that a Palestinian Authority (PA) would be good. Then, permanent talks on the problems of borders, refugees, and Jerusalem would be held.
