The Jews established the Zionist movement in attempt to return to their ancient homeland, Palenstine. This movement called for the development of a nation state for the Jewish in Palenstine. THousands of Jewish people start to migrate into the Arab populated Palenstne.

After World War 1, Britian seizes Palenstine from Ottomans and promotes jewish inhabitance in Palenstine. The British established the Balfour Declaration which announced that "nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities". Alothough Britain favored the Zionist movement, they also aided the Zionist movement in order to connect ties with the Jewish community.

The impact of the Holocaust during World War II caused the Jewishh community to rapidly migrate towards Palenstine. This great migration gave rise to the tensions between Briatian, Palenstine, and Isreal. Though these countries worked to togtehr for the remanider of World War II, this uneven distrubtion of peoples led to later problems.

The United Nations decided to intervene with the Isreal- Palenstine conflict by splitting Palenstine into individual Jewish states and individual Arab States. The UN established that 55% of Palenstine would belong to the Jews. This led to uprsiing probelms due to the fact that only 30% of the population of Palenstine were Jewish.

British mandate ends in Isreal and Isreal becomes an independant country. The Jewish National Council establishes the state of Isreal.

Tensions between Arba and Isreali forces lef to the beginning of the 1947-1949 war. After Isreal fought back Arab forces( help from four other countries), Isreal established a new border called the Green Line. Isrealis also exiled 750,000 Palenstines from their home land (Nakba), and attempted to erase any trace of Palenstines in Palenstine.

Isreal, Britain, and France joined together to take control of the Suez Canal from Eygpt. The main purpose of this act was to gain vital waterways that were used by Isreal for shipping and trade. Along with the gain of waterways, Isreali ended minor conflicts with Palenstines in Sinai.

The PLO, formed by Eqgypt, was established for centrlization of Palenstine resistance groups, and the soul purpose of taking control back from Isreal. The PLO mainly used armed forces against Isreali. These organization also held raids on Isreal civilians and military.

After months of tension, Isreal launched a highly seccesful surpirse attack on Egypt. Isreal conquered the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem, Golan Heights, and Sinai during the Six Day War. Isreal imedieatly started populating these regions.

Angered by the ignorance towards Isreal, Arab States launched an attack on Isreal during Yom Kippur. Eygptians succesfully pushed back the Isreali from the Suez Canal, but where eventually defeated. Isrealis suffered from immense casualties, but succesfully caused the Eyptians to withdrwal.

In Washington D.C. the Isreal, Eygypt, and US presidents met and signed the Camp David Accord. Isreal agreed to return Sinai to Eygpt and negotiations were made between Palenstines and Isrealis. Although this treaty was signed in 1979 no further progress occured until the 1990s

Isreal launched an attack on Lebanon in order to expel the Palenstine Liberation Organization. This outbreak was caused by the PLOs assasination plans towards the Isreal ambassador. This was the start of a long, drawn out conflict between Isreal and Lebanon

Caused by rumors of Isreali poeple mass murding Palenstines led to the first Inifada. Palenstines fought to take back their land, but had little to no success. The amount of murder alarmed the PLO and the PLO cause for an end to the violence.

About 96% of the orignial population of Palenstine, before the Isrealis arrived, were Muslims and Christians. These Muslim and Christians are not allowed back in their country, and the ones that are self disrciminated. Most Isreali people do not allow Palenstines in Palenstine to have control over their own lives. Children and women are held in prisons, but efforts are being made to try to solve this issue.
