    ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer)
    ENIAC was the earliest electronic general-purpose computer. It was Turing-complete, digital and able to solve "a large class of numerical problems" through reprogramming. In 1942, physicist John Mauchly proposed an all-electronic calculating machine. Meanwhile, The U.S. Army needed to calculate complex wartime ballistics tables. The proposal met patron.

It played a significant role in spreading awareness of, and access to, national networking and was a major milestone on the path to development of the global Internet.

    Development of Lotus 1-2-3
    Lotus Development Corporation was founded by Mitch Kapor and Jonathan Sachs in 1982. They released their development of Lotus 1-2-3 in January 1983. This software combined several function into one application, such as spreadsheet, charting and graphing, and basic database operations. It is a unique project and it is first time to release these functions in one application. The founders planned this project and it was well scheduled to be released in January 1983.

    John Rornkey was requested by Dan Lynch, President of the Interop to connect a toaster to the internet and displayed it in 1990 Interop show. John Rornkey worked with his friend- Simon Hackett and they successfully connected an Automatic Radiant Control Toaster to the Internet with TCP/IP networking. There is one control to turn on the power and the darkness of the toast was controlled by how long the power was kept on.

    Alibaba Yahoo launched the world's first vertical search project for the World Cup, “Yahoo World Cup search” in 18th May, 2006. It was reported that this is the first time that search technology had been introduced into the sports field. Yahoo was the only official online partner of FIFA. The Yahoo World Cup website in China maintained information sharing with FIFA and leveraged Yahoo's global website resources to fully display the content related to the World Cup.

    The Google self-driving car project is led by Sebastian Thrun. There were seven driverless cars were tested by google engineers in several main roads in California. These cars used cameras, Radar sensors and laser to check the road status and also used internet technology such as google detailed map to navigate. It is unique since the project is an innovation. It is well planned by Sebastian Thrun and other google engineers. It is detail scheduled to conduct on Apr.20, 2009.

    The National Data Exchange project was implemented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and aimed to share current crime data by building on the FBI’s service-oriented architecture with secure entry through the existing Law Enforcement Online Web portal. The project ran for four years and ended in 2010 and was given a budget approximately $100 million USD.

Development began in 2010 with the first trial product becoming available on 17th of June. The first official version was completed a year later on 6th of June 2011.  
  • Transport for London

    Transport for London
    Transport for London (TfL) carried out a project between 21st November and 19th December 2016 to track and analyse how users use the London Underground public transport service. TfL collected the data from the general public’s smartphones, laptops, and tablets, when they were connected to the London Underground’s Wi-Fi hotspots. The hotspots would then collect the unique MAC address of each device and store the data as encrypted hashers, to protect against potential hackers.
