  • The start of the Internet

    • In 1962 was the first sign of internet but was only allowed to use by the United Nations during the Cold War because they wanted to talk secretly so they invented the ARPANET

  • Internet was only for certain people.

    • Between 1968 and 1971 the APPANET was only for engineers, scientists and librarians. The Internet wasn’t that friendly people had to learn a very complex system.

  • First time using Internet

    • In October 1969 was the first time that a human had used the internet. Charley Kline was the first one the used the internet. He sends a package by APPANET and it worked.

  • The Email

    • The Email was adapted to APPANET in 1972 by Ray Tomlinson. Ray chose the @ symbol because was the one that can work with telnet. Telnet was a protocol that accepted that you can log in in more than one computer.

  • The Ethernet

    • In 1974 a Harvard student propose the Ethernet but they didn’t let him expose it because there were no proves that would work so he added some equations.

  • Listserv

    • In 1981 people invented Listserv that let the owners of the site to exchange emails and list to others.

  • More and More!!!

    • As the emails and telnet were more advance it was easier for non-technological people to use the nets.

  • More storaging

    • In the 80’s the internet started to grow. Before it was small so it was easier to keep track of the information in it but in the 1986 it grew and people have to find new ways of storing the information.

  • First internet Browser

    • In 1993 Marc Andreessen show up with the first internet browser and he call it mosaic. Because the idea of the browser Microsoft fight against the new idea and created a new browser call explorer. This was the beginning of the new internet ERA.

  • Abuses

    • Now the abuses start to grow. The email is one because people can cyber bully someone and hurt other's feelings. Another abuse is the pornography because there are people that are not 18 that can use it and watch it.

  • Google

    Google was put in to work in the 1998 and has been one of the most dangerous places when we are talking about cyberbullying.

  • Facebook

    Facebook is a site were people can interact with others online and can chat and coment things.People are using this website as bullying by posting thing that are not true about others and hurt their feelings.

  • youtube

    Youtube is, as all you probably know, a video sharring program where people can post whatever they want. People are uising these application to bully some people by posting private videos of people.
