The water frame is a spinning frame that's is powered by water, it produced yarn stronger and harder than the spinning Jenny which was rare for the time as the spinning Jenny was a revolutionary invention. this meant the quality of yarn was better and could last longer. -
Spinning Mule
Spinning mule was an invention by Samuel Crompton, it impacted the way weaving was done as it gave greater control over the weaving process, the spinners could make many different types of yarn and finer yarns were able to be spun. however a downside to this machine was the size as each carriage carried 1320 spindles and was up to 46m long. -
