    Humayun ascends the throne at Agra at the age of 23.
    -He was the eldest of Babur's sons
    -He helped his father with the conquest of India
  • Feb 14, 1556

    Akbar the Great

    -Succeeded Humayun
    -He was born in exile and ascended the throne ath the age of 13
    -He conquered massive new territories including much of Rajasthan, created a long lasting civil and military administrative system

    -War breaks out between France and Great Britain
    -Robert Clive and Admiral Watson bombarded and captured Chandannagar
