During staff meeting present state assessment scores to show that not all students are making gains. Evaluate current practices using technology in the classroom, show research to show that there is so much more to do with technology in the classroom. -

Reviewing School Plan with Leadership Team and making changes for next year on how to implement and integrate technology within the school. -
Write in Project Based Learning to School Plan
Introduce the leadership team to the benefits of project based learning, the research and compare to current practices. Project based learning will be written into the plan as an instructional strategy to use within one core subject. -
Budget time
Review next year's budget with School Site Council and allocate money to conference that focuses on project based learning using technology. -

With the leadership team, outline an implementation plan to bring in project based learning using technology into the classroom. -

Plan implementation of Project Based Learning plan, outline steps that teachers will follow in the implementation and monitoring. Grade level team leaders will assist in the implementation by making it a topic during collaboration meetings. -

Teachers will implement one project based learning project in one content area using technology. -
Welcome Back IH
Staff development at the beginning of the school school will include the benefits of integrating technology with project based learning. Each grade level will plan their implementation plan and turn it in to grade level team leader. -
Check In
Use a half day release day with leadership team to assess implementation of project based learning using technology, if need be, bring in instructional coaches to assist in any needs that grade levels might be encountering with this teaching strategy. -
Project presentations
Teachers will have students present their project to the class using technology. Teacher will assess by identifying the five components of project based learning and allowing students to reflect on their own learning. -
Evaluate Implementation
Leadership Team will evaluate the implementation of project based learning using technology and revise/modify next steps to our implementation plan, do we need more staff development, are students driving their own learning?
