The Odesa State Law Academy was established
The administration of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, the heads of the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad regional state administrations and the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea submitted a proposal to establish a Law Institute of Odesa State University named after I. I. Mechnikov of the new educational institution — Odesa State Law Academy. -
Library of National University Odesa Law Academy
The library of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" has a large collection of books. Today, the scientific library's multi-disciplinary fund includes almost 1 million copies of documents in national and foreign languages. The library began to develop especially intensively in 1997, when it became part of the Odessa National Law Academy. -

The Church of the Martyr Tatiana was opened
In 2000, the first stone was laid, which served for the further construction of the church named after Holy Martyr Tatiana. The construction was popular, and the Temple itself was a student bride.
This first student temple was built according to the project of the honored architect of Ukraine, Volodymyr Glazyrin.
The architectural solution of the temple is unique and has no analogues, the project was selected in a competition among ten others. -
