To escape the British rule, thousands of Boers began to move North in Africa. -

He sailed to Japan to open trade between Japan and America. It resulted in the Treaty of Kanagawa which was the trade agreement. -
Opium Wars Begin
China tried to stop the smuggling of opium into their land by Britian but he British easly win. It ended with the Treaty of Nanjing. -
Sepoy Rebellion
It was a rebellion started by the Indian Soldiers againss the British rule. Britsh were able to shut down the revolt in one year and resluted in the parliament tightening control of India and ended the East Indian Company dominance. -
Suez Canal Built
It connected the Mediterranian and Red Seas, separating Asia from Africa. -
Boer War Begins
Boers blamed GB for settin up a failed rebellion against them to take control of the land. It was the first modern "total" war that GB wion. -
Panama Canal built
It connects the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean and is 48 miles long.
