  • Lifetime of Lucy

    Australopithecus Afarensis (Lucy) lived about 4 million B.C.E ago. They are biped, therefore they can walk on 2 feet. They have teeth and are omnivores. There brains are much smaller than ours.
  • Homo Habilis

    Homo habilis are sometimes called "Handy Mans" because of there ability to create tools. they are able to make tools because there brains are larger than australopithecus afarensis. They can get more food because of there tools. They lived about 2 millions years ago.
  • Homo Erectus

    Homo Erectus means upright man. They lived about 1.8 millions years ago. They have a bigger brain than Homo Habilis and they can make better tools than Homo Habilis. Also they can stand up straighter than the others. They are capable of making and controlling fire.
  • Homo Sapiens

    Homo Sapiens are also know as neanderthalensis. They lived about 500,000 B.C.E ago. They started to bury there dead members and care about each other more. They also started to make medicines. They now have much bigger brains and they have much more sophisticated tools. They work and stay in groups.
  • Homo Sapiens Sapiens

    Homo Sapian Sapiens are modern humans. They have the biggest brains. There tools are more advanced. They have mastered making fire. They have develop the ability to talk, communicate, cave painting, and agriculture.
  • Rise the Kingdom of Sumer

    Approx. 2009 BCE.
    The Sumer kingdom to be found a succesful live with a stable food supply, water , and jobs. They also created the wheel.
  • The Epic of Gilgamesh

    Exact date of writing is unknown, best copies discovered in a 7th century BCE royal library.The Epic of Gilgamesh is a fiction story about a real life Sumerian king and his great adventures.

    Approx. 1900 BCE
    Abraham is the first person to believe in one god and he was the first human to talk to God in the bible. Abraham is the great grandfather of Joseph.
  • Hummurabi's Code

    1792-1750 BCE
    Hammurabi’s Code contain a list of 210 laws that the people of Babylon had to follow or else, they will be punished. Hammurabi was the king of Babylon and got the rights to rule and make laws from Shamash, the Sumerian/Babylion Sun God.
  • Joseph goes to Egypt and the Israelites follow

    Joseph was favorite son of Jacob and great grandson of Abraham. Joseph was the elventh son of Jacob's tewlve sons. Joesph was sold into salvery by his elven hateful brothers.
  • Moses, the Exodus from Egypt, and the Ten Commandments

    Approx. 1280-1240 BCE
    Moses was the savior for the jews,he seperated the Nile river so that the jews can be free and after that went to the top of a mountion where he saw a burning bush that had no ashes. In the bible it is said that Moses heard the vocie of God though the bush and there god told Moses the Ten Commandments that he wrote down and bought back down the the jews so they know the rules of God.

    Approx. the middle of the 13th century to the middle of the 11th century BCE
    Deborh was a judge in Canaan.Her job was to hear and deal with all the complaints.She only was to make you believe in God's word.
  • The Reign of David

    Approx. 1013-973 BCE
    David was the most famous king of Canaan.He was the one to face the gaint Geligth and beat him with a slingshot. No body beleived that he was able to defeat Gelight, but he proofed them wrong.
  • Elijah

    Approx. 875-853 BCE
    Elijah was one of the Phophts.He ended kingship in Canaan.God said to him that the King and Queen believed in another god.He was angered and made flood and famine.Elijah challege their god.There was challenge to see who god was greater, they had to light on fire a pile of fire wood and bull.The king's preists trying to call upon their god to burn it,but failed.Elijah put buckets after bucket of water on to the fire wood untill it was soaked,God sent fire and burned everything

    In what is now Iraq the Assyrains created a great empire. Lachish had a great wall surrounding it and it was on a hill. So it was an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time because their supplies were cut off.

    there were evidence of holy actifacts in modren day temples. A wall painting of the bull that might mean Shiva

    after the Aryans invaded the indus valley the two merged it to one relgion.then soon after the Vedas were made and wirrten in Sankcirt, written by Brham.

    the Asectics were nomadic warriors that wanted to concor the Indus Vally and started a war between them.soon the Asectics won and settled there but changed the reglion a little here and they and wrote the Upanishads telling about the Gods and goddess.
