  • Hitler joins the Nazi Party

    Hitler joined the Nazi Party in 1919 when it was first created. he thought that he could make Germany great again after the World War. He was not satisfied with the terms of the Treat of Versailles so he tried to make a change.

  • The Beer Hall Putsch

    On November the 8th, 1923 Hitler and the Nazi party tried to overthrow the German Government. Hitlers planned failed which ended up him being arrested by the german police. He was charged with treason.

  • Hitler is convicted of treason

    When Hitler tried to overthrow the German Government and take power, his planned failed dramatically. He was convicted for treason and his sentence was 5 years. Although he committed this crime he gained a lot of attention from the people of Germany. They all thought he could make Germany great again so the German government got him out of prison after only serving 9 months of his sentence.

  • Germany joins the League of Nations.

    Germany joined the League of nations in 1926. Germany found a new leader named Gustav Stresemann and he made a request to the other countries for Germany to join The league of nations. After they denied once, he made a second attempt and they accepted. Germany called of the strikes and the french agreed to leave the Ruhr.

  • Hitler is appointed chancellor.

    After Hitler came out of jail and gained enough power he ran for president but didn't get the job. On 1933 The president of Germany named Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. After he was named Chancellor Hitler started to violate the rules of The Treaty of Versailles. He was increasing his army, bringing back the air force and making more weapons.

  • Germany invades Austria

    Hitler wanted the Nazi Party to take over Austria but the Chancellor of Austria refused. He was going to make a public vote but he knew the majority of the people would vote for Austrian Independence. So Hitler threatened to raid Austria if they didn't give the power to him.

  • Germany invades Sudetenland.

    Sudetenland was an area in Czechoslovakia. It was created after world war 1. 2 countries, Czechs and the slovaks came together to form this country. Hitler wanted control over Sudetenland because it was taken from Germany after the world war. he regained control ed and this is when Britain declared war against Germany because they were not happy with The treaty of versilles being broken.

  • Germany invades Poland.

    On 1939 Germany forces attacked Poland by bombing them. He wanted to regain the lost territory after the World War and he also wanted to rule Poland. Within weeks the Polish army was defeated. Britain and France were allies with the Polish was not happy with Hitler's action. Germany and Britain declared war against Germany.. This was the start of World War 2.
