This was a secret telegram sent by Germany to Mexico that proposed a military Alliance. If Mexico entered the war, Germany would give Mexico Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico. So if Germany won the war and Mexico joined the pact, a major part of the U.S. would be gone.

On this day Germany continues unrestricted warfare, meaning that in "war" areas no matter what sea vessel, or from what country, Germany's subs will sink it. It previously stopped do to pressure from the United States, but it now continuing it. This effects the U.S. and other countries, as well as neutral countries because ships will have to do routes around these war areas, with still no guarantees of safe passage.

U.S. Senate, and Congress vote in favor of declaring War on Germany. The Impact was major. As the wold powers were weak against Germany and its allies. Britain was being harassed, and as one of our biggest trading allies, it was hurting us as well. This turned the tide of the war for the better.

On this day WWI officially ended. It ended when the treaty was signed. This put the burden of the war and strict restrictions upon Germany. It brought Germany in ruin as their economy plummeted. They no longer saw themselves as an elite force, but as a nation that was no better than other countries, and people.

After the war the Victorious European powers demanded that Germany and its allies compensate them for the conflicts. After debate they settled on an amount Germany had to pay. When they were unable to pay because of the country's financial ruin.A new plan had to be written. The Dawes plan said that payments would start small and get bigger, as the economy of Germany grew. Young proposed that much of their debt be forgiven, and give them more time to pay.

During the 20's the economy in America was booming, and our wealth doubled. Everyone was pouring their money into stocks, inflating stock prices, while the production and employment was decreasing. While people were buying less, and investors started selling their fluffed stocks, the massive sell rate caused the market to collapse corrupting all prices, with less spending people lost jobs, and fell into debt they could not pay.

After the downturn of the German economy, a great speaker and dictator Adolf Hitler rose in popularity, first as the chandalor of Germany, and then as its leader. He got the country out of its economic rut, but at a price. He wanted the Nazi regime to control the world.
