    Underneath the Tree of Awakening, Gautama was in a great meditation and was thinking about his past. During that time he received enlightenment, then became the buddha.

    The first temple that King Solomon built was completed in 957 BCE. He gave his own money to have it built. He made it his capital after King David took over Jerusalem.
