    The Graphical User Interface is developed by Xerox just a few years before Apple released its first computer. The GUI was inteded for neat and organized file locating and storage.

At this point apple sought to revolutionize computers and make them for an entertainment product rather than a business necessity.

    The Osbourne was the first in portable computers; The computer weiged 2 dozen pounds and only had a 5" screen. With 64 Kb of RAM, a word processing and a spreadsheet program pre-installed on the device the Osbourne became the computer for on the go business men.
