    The Wireless Ship Act requires all ships of the United States traveling over two-hundred miles off the coast and carrying over fifty passengers to have wireless radio equipment with a range of one-hundred miles.

    Organized FRC in 1927. Too many home stations broadcasting. It organized the licensing of transmitters.

    FM radio was patented and Edwin Armstrong invented it. FM uses frequency modulation of the radio wave to minimize static and interference to make things more clear.
