    Invented by Apple engineers. The Macintosh was the first personal computer with a moveable mouse. It also included the programs MacPaint and MacWrite which were designed to show off the new system's interface.

    invented by Steve Jobs while he was part of his new company NeXT, this computer introduced an all-new operation system that quickened the development of software applications - OPENSTEP. This new operating system would later become the foundation of the new Mac OS operation system after the acquisition of NeXT by Apple in the 1990's.
