    Charles Babbage was a British mathematician. In the 1820s charles invented a six wheeled programming computer, which could perform mathematical calculations. He then made plans for working on a bigger and better computer the “difference engine 2”

    in 1939 hewlett Pachard was founded. David pachard and bill hewlett found hewlett packard in there own garage. Their first product was the HP 200A audio oscilator which becomes a popular piece of test equiptment for engineers.

    in 1940 the first complex calculator was completed. Bell telephone laboratories completed the calculator, designed by researcher George Stibitz

    in 1941 Konrad Zuse finishes the Z3 computer. The Z3 was an early computer built by German engineer Konrad Zuse working in complete isolation.

    in 1942 The Atanasoff-Berry Computer is completed. After successfully demonstrating a proof-of-concept prototype in 1939, Atanasoff received funds to build the full-scale machine.
