Apple Inc, which used to be known as Apple Computer Inc., was founded in April 1976 in California, USA. It was created by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne - three computer enthusiasts who used to attend the Homebrew Computer Club. Their first product was the Apple 1 computer, which was a very basic early design. From these beginnings in the mid 1970s, Apple has become one of the world's most successful companies and one of the world's most famous brand names. -
Google
Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford University in 1995. By 1996, they had built a search engine (initially called BackRub) that used links to determine the importance of individual webpages. the company has packed a lot into a relatively young life. Since Google was founded in 1998, its grown to serve millions of people around the world. -
Youtube
YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion.
