HP is founded and they release their first product, the HP 200A Audio Oscillator. It was a popular piece of test equipment for engineers. -

Lyons Electronic Office (LEO) built by J. Lyons and Co. to help with scheduling and delivery of cakes. Was the first computer for commercial business. -
IBM 701
IBM shipped its first electronic computer. Was sold to research labs, aircraft companies and the government. -

HP joins the general purpose computer business. Their first computer was the HP-2115. -

HP creates the world's first scientific calculator. -
Apple II
Apple’s successful early computer. Had a keyboard, case assembly, manual, game paddles, A/C powercord, and cassette tape with the game Breakout. Produced great colours. -
Commodore 64
Computer sold by Commodore from 1982 to 1993. Sold 22 million units and holds the Guinness world record. Featured impressive graphics (for its time). Was esentially the start of gaming computers.
