    Description - The zoetrope is an optical toy that produces an illusion of motion from a rapid succession of static images. This is done by spinning the chamber and looking through the slits inside. the images are spun at a speed resulting in the appearance of motion.     Phenakistoscope
    Description - Similar to the Zoetrope, but instead of slits you look down onto the spinning disc. This gives the same illusion of movement. when spun fast enough. Image Citation -
