i was comming to angle island to start my new life in america with my family and when we get their we get cheack out and we all pass and their was a man in a suit he came to me and asked me if i have a job and if not i am giving you one and i took it with out asking my family -
my job and my family
I am happy to have a job here at Angel Island. The iwages that i earn are badly needed for my family to survive. I fear for my life everyday that i am at work. I am afraid of heights, several peole tht came over on the boat with us have already fallen to their death. Not only do i worry about my self, what would happen to me family if i were not here to provide for them? -
exciting day
We finished our first sky scrapper tpday. It is one of the tallest and most beautiful buildings that I have ever seen. Excitement is in the air, all of us are celebrating the completion of the building, as well as our sevival. I am certain that I have taken many years off my life worrying that the sky scrapper would be the end of me. What a relief to be done with the construction. Now how will i provide for my family. We love it here in America, we will find a way. -
new days
We have been in America for many years now. Coming to America was the greatest thing thing that I did for my family. I have my own construction busines and my family is well taken care of, including the grand children. We are starting construction on a new sky scapper next month. I am fortunate my feet no longer leave the ground.
