    The Reichstag voted on the Enabling Act, a bill that gave the chancellor, Hitler, and his cabinet the authority to issue new laws- even laws that contradicted the constitution

    After the Communist Party, the Social Democrats, the Liberal parties and the Nationalists had disbanded, the National Socialist German Workers' Party was officially declared the sole legal party

    This election revealed the full extent of Nazi supremecy. The Reichstag had become the Nazis' home, and noone else was welcome. The Weimer Republic had come to an end.

    The Nazis' passed the 'law concerning the reconstriction of the Reich', dissolving the governments of all German States. Hitler later implemented another law appointing loyal Nazis' as state governers.
