Gernelle, Lacombe, Benchetrit and Beckmann were all in the making of the Mircal. The first commercial PC that did not come in a kit and that was also based on a microprocessor, the Intel 8008. In Châtenay-Malabary (a southwestern suburb in Paris, France) Gernelle, Lacombe, Benchetrit and Beckmann worked in a cellar for several hours in order to create the computer in time. Micral was changed as application specific which was developed into operating systems https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micral
  • MOS 6502

    MOS 6502
The MOS 6502 was designed by a small group lead by Chuck Peddle in Norristown, Pensylivannia. It had become popular very quickly, because it was the least expensive full-featured microprocessor on the market. The progeny of the 6502 is still used today, but it is usually used in embedded applications. It is also used in cars and medical equipment such as pacemakers. http://www.visual6502.org
  • Apple I

    Apple I
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak cofounded the Apple I. Steve Wozniak was an inventor, electronics engineer, programmer, and technology entrepreneur. It was developed in the bedroom of Steve Wozniak's home on 11161 Crist Drive, Los Altos. The Apple I was the first computer with a single-circuit board. It was also based on the MOStek 6502 chip. If there was not a start of Apple I there most likely would not have the Apple products we have today. http://tinyurl.com/apple1ca
  • Commodore

    Commodore
It was introduced by Commodore International as a home computer made in North America. It featured two built-in cassette drives. It also had 8 kilobytes of memory. Also the Commodore brought computers into the home affordably. If the Commodore was not created for home computer use people today would not have home computers today. http://www.commodore.ca
  • Apple II

    Apple II
The Apple II was an 8 bit computer primarily designed by Steve Jobs. It was first introduced by Steve Jobs in 1977 at the West Coast Computer Fair. It included several things such as a printed circuit motherboard, brilliant graphics, game paddles, and the computer game "Breakout". This created a change in several personal devices throughout the years, because as the years went on there became more and more computer games and we have computer games today as well. http://tinyurl.com/apple2ca
  • Macintosh

    Macintosh
The Macintosh was designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. in California as the competitor to the Commodore. However the Macintosh was more expensive. It was the companies first mass-marketed personal computer with a graphical user interface and mouse. It evolved into the introduction of Windows 3.0 and Windows 95. The Macintosh project was envisioned as an easy to use, low cost computer for the average consumer. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2B-XwPjn9YY
  • Deskpro 386

    Deskpro 386
The company that made the Deskpro 386 orginated in Harris County, Texas. First desktop to use Intel's 80386 chip that was manufactured by Compaq. It gave the PC as much speed and power as some of the older mainframes and minicomputers. Speed and Power helped the personal computer become faster. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yuIbfx62X5A
  • iMac

    iMac
The iMac had a colored casing it was designed by Jonathon Ive in California. It also had Ethernet and USB connectivity. iMac included a 4 Mbps IrDA (Infrared Data Associations) port. The IrDA lets data transfer from one device to another. The iMac was Apple's turning point for financial ruin. This lead to several different changes with the iMac. It went from a bigger "back" of the computer and smaller screen to a large flat screen like a TV. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LKim7wpi1Lw
