    President at the time Paul von Hindenburg appointed hitler as the chancellor of germany. Even though at the time Hitler got 38% of the votes which at that time that was quite a lot of votes which meant he was very popular around there.
  • Boycott of Jewish Business

    Boycott of Jewish Business

    Shortly after Hitler became chancellor of Germany he decided to start targeting jewish businesses.He put signs all over the city and jewish business so german people would stop supporting their businesses. It was hard though for that to happen because there wasn't many german based business it was mostly jewish so german people still had to shop there.
  • Hitler proclaims himself Führer und Reichskanzler (Leader and Reich Chancellor).

    This means that armed forces or his army would have to swear allegiance towards hitler. With a law that he made he abolished the office and named himself Führer.

    The nazi representatives passed the nuremberg laws. These laws reversed the process of emancipation. These laws basically meant that Jew in Germany would have equal rights as everybody else as a citizen in Germany.

    Sachsenhausen was a concentration camp created by the nazi. It was in Oranienburg, Germany. The concentration camp was used from July 1936 through April 22 1945.
