  • FIRST: Walk-In Activity

    FIRST: Walk-In Activity
    Student Athletes will skip the perimeter of the room 2 times while maintaining proper skipping form. (5 Min) If you have questions, ask your friends in appropriate time, or ask Coach.
  • SECOND: Team Warm-Up

    SECOND: Team Warm-Up
    Student stretch leaders of that day will lead the class through their group stretch warm up routine. (10 Minutes) If you have questions, ask your friends in appropriate time, or ask Coach.
  • THIRD: Shooting Drill

    THIRD: Shooting Drill
    Athletes will get into groups of 5 and split up into 4 groups so that each group is assigned a basketball court.
    Athletes will then rotate through rebounding system and practice their jump shot from 9 ft. away from the court. (15 minutes) If you have questions, ask your friends in appropriate time, or ask Coach.
  • FOURTH: Hungry, Hungry, Athletes: Shooting Activity

    FOURTH: Hungry, Hungry, Athletes: Shooting Activity
    Student athletes will each be assigned a basketball ball and exposed to 4 basketball courts with multiple poly spots around each basket scattered across the gym. The students will then shoot at any spot. I they make the basket, they keep that poly-spot and collect it and then shoot at another spot. If the student misses the shot, they rebound their ball and try again. (15 minutes) If you have questions, ask your friends in appropriate time, or ask Coach.
  • LAST: Class Closing/ Equipment Return

    LAST: Class Closing/ Equipment Return
    Present the student with open ended questions about what skill they learned and ask student to review over the skills that were taught. Also have leaders allow you to help put all other equipment to proper storage area. (7 minutes) If you have questions, ask your friends in appropriate time, or ask Coach. CLOSE LESSON
