    I begin to develop motor skills, respond to people and objects, and begin to become aware of myself and others.

    Biosocial - I approximately double in weight and am able to roll over from back to front.

    Cognitive - I say my first word at about five months. I said Amen after a prayer.
  • Emotional Development

    Psychosocial - I began to smile between my third and fourth week. Most babies develop this ability between the sixth and eighth weeks.

    Biosocial - I begin walking while holding on to things at eleven months. In contrast my brother began walking while holding on at nine months.

    Cognitive and Psychosocial - My first memory is a vague and dreamlike recollection of my Grandparents moving away and the sad and confused feelings that came with the experience.

    Psychosocial - My family's dog, "Sherie", had cancer and had to be put down. I remember the pain that it caused me and the anger that they would kill my dog.

    Cognitive - I began beginner piano lessons at A. W. Spalding after I started kindergarten. I also learned how to read this year.

    Biosocial - I learned to ride a bike. I had gotten one for my birthday. I was a big boy of six now and all big boys know how to ride a bike.

    Psychosocial - I was baptized by my grandfather at the Collegedale Church.

    Biosocial - My mother, my brother, and I moved to Illinois to be closer to family and because my mother felt God was calling her.

    Cognitive and Psychosocial - My mother, my brother, and I set out for a five month tour of Europe. We visit twelve countries.

    Biosocial - I finally figure out how to whistle and drive everyone mad by doing it all day.

    I begin to notice underarm hair growing and I get excited. My mom takes me to the store to get "my very own" deodorant.

    I begin to read serious and philosophical writing. Books I delved into include the death of socrates, the roman emporers, truth triumphant, the two babylons, desire of ages, and the great controversy.

    My stepfather dies after commiting suicide. I was angry at him and we didn't have a good relationship so I struggle with the pain, guilt, and anger for a long time.

    I notice my jaw has widened and hair begins to form on my uppre lip and chin. I have always developed physically at a slower rate than most people.

    I head to college and discover that one of my favorite classes is Developmental Psychology.

    I get into my first and hopefully only serious relationship. I'm in love.

    Cognitive - I finish with my theology degree and graduate from SAU.

    Psychosocial - Our first born son is born. HIs name is Horatio L. Gates. He looks loke his mother.

    Psychosocial - A few years after i meet the girl of my dreams we get married... we can't wait any longer.

    Biosocial - I begin to experience diabetic complications.
